Tickle saves a point

Post by ian.birchall »

but for Hull unfortunately.
Les Cats 2 tries 1 goal dix points
Hull 1 try 3 Tickle goals 10 points and there was I thinking we should do better at Perpignan this year!

It's interesting isn't it, the players we let go, are always the heroes - for other teams. Example:

Orr - Apparently had a blinder for Harlequins on Friday night.

Tickle - Saves a point for Hull today. Knowing our luck, Godwin probably had a very good game as well.

Actually he cost them 2 points by missing a 78th minute penalty to put them in front.

If that had happened whilst he was playing for Wigan, would everyone be calling him a hero of the club? I think not!

Catalans have made some excellent overseas signings in the off season, and much more than other teams are allowed to. They will be tough to beat, even tougher when stacey jones returns.

Don't be too disheartened for next week. From the reports that I have read, Hull were terrible; they badly missed Cooke and didn't really create anything in attack.

Don't forget that les cats are still missing Stacey Jones
