Got anything else on your mind that isn't about the Warriors? If you do, this is the place to post.

And Cukoo do you think the circulation figures for our local rag(which i agree is a load of crap) and The Sun, Star, Daily Mail, Mirror are the same in Wigan then you really must be cukoo, cukoo, cukoo.

If you want to check that worldwide renown, I suggest you subscribe to NewsNow and look for stories about Wigan Athletic. News of every match report is carried from Australia to Zimbabwe. The other week I watched the Newcastle game live on Serbian TV and I've lost count of the number of times we've been on Arabic TV. In fairness, there are a lot of stories about the other team in Wigan, too. But they emanate only from Lancashire, Yorkshire and parts of Australia.
If your team are so internationally renown (and you still haven't said for what; but I bet it isn't for fast flowing "sexy" attacking football) how is it that you are trying to brag about it on a rugby league website?

Could it be that if you did it on a general football forum you would be deafened by the roars of laughter from supporters of other clubs?

As I said before - if you and your team are so much more important than us and ours; then what are you doing on here? You aren't likely to convert many people here - free tickets or not.

I apologise Markus if your not a cockneyliar mong.

I have not once denied that the town is not better for having a football club in this great town of ours (see my earlier post). Its the majority of the cretins who watch them i have a problem with

Personally I'd let the cuckoo and the Latics fans have their 5 minutes of fame, the did well in their first year in the Premier League but it has been shown that isn't because Latics and Paul Jewel was amazing there is a club almost every year who do the same, Reading did it this season, Ipswich did it a few years ago but there is only one way to go and unfortunatly that is down.

When Latics get relegated all the "Premiership" support will disappear and the attedances will return to 9,000-11,000. Unlikely Wigan Warriors, they can go up, down, left, right and the attedances will stay steady because they have loyal supporters.

If Wigan Athletic are so well supported then why was their attedance 5,771 during 2001/2002 yet when they get promoted to the Premiership their attedance increases to 20,904... to me that suggests glory supporters. The pull of the Premiership is to account for the 15,000 extra fans who turn up, atleast 5,000 of those are away fans, another 5,000 of those just go because it is the Premiership and don't really support anyone and the final 5,000 used to support, Man U, Liverpool ,Everton etc.

It is always easy to tell the "true" latics fans, they are the ones who will say that "Football is Football and Rugby is Rugby" and they don't start arguements about who is the better team because to a real fan their club is always the best team and it doesn't matter about anyone else. The glory supports stand out though and cuckoo you are one of them and are a disgrace to the true Latics fans who supported their club from Non-League to Premier League.

and Google says the Winner is.....

Wigan Warriors with 335,000

Loser is Wigan Athletic with 103,000

 It's just abit of fun

Dude, you are so wrong. Put your search in inverted commas so that it finds the exact words.

"Wigan Athletic" = 1,210.000
v
"Wigan Warriors" = 127,000

No further questions, your honour.

Like I said earlier, does it really matter. If individual fans are going to start quoting facts and figures, they are getting into the "my dad's bigger than yours" mentality. I like Wigan Athletic, I am passionate about Wigan Rugby. Why? because I am a WIGANER, born and bred and not as small/narrow minded as some that come on here, Latics and rugby fans alike.
