Russell Smith has been appointed as ref for the playoff match on saturday.
Also, the club are reporting that ticket sales are going well, with 8,800 sold after two days. The reckon the South Stand will be sold out and to get your tickets before the match. This is likely, as it has been sold out several times this season already.

With Smith in charge we might as well give up on getting any penalties, especially in the first half, and no doubt we'll be penalised mercilessly just for being Wigan!!

Russell's not too bad, I don't think he has any particular love of Wigan or the Skints so it should be a fairly even game in terms of bias from the ref. Having him for this match is different to having him for the Bratfud matches, particularly since I believe he played for Northern in his formative years so is obviously completely neutral...NOT.
