1. A Wigan lad, "point taken".
2. Played for Wigan, "point understood".
3. Knows what it is like to have played in the big games against saints. So have loads of other X Wigan players, like Dennis Betts, "does that make them a good coach, not necessarily the case".
4. Would have Wigan at heart, all the time, "true point understood".
Shaun Edwards has now been linked to Rugby Union for many many years now, and in that time Rugby League has made massive steps forward in playing and training techniques. Edwards has totally lost touch with these methods, "so why would he make a good coach of Wigan Warriors, based on his PREVIOUS track history with Wigan".

Leed's coach for next season looks likely to be Brian McCLennan, the NZ test coach.

So Nobby's not going to be the Leeds' boss!
