I don't think anyone is bothered about how well ex-league players do in union with respect to them going on to play better. For a start its a different game and comparisons are moot.

What people moan about is players who leave Wigan for another RL club and doing better for them than they did for us, playing the same game.

That is a relevant discussion as regards Tickle.
