That it should come to this...another short term contract coming to an end and in a bid to look busy at my cleared desk I am reduced to soiling the message board with the likes of this, I am sorry...

I had a conversation with a media colleague just now who was new to rugby league and had encountered the Bradford Bulls recently, he remarked on their enormous size man for man and asked me if Wigan had ever had a side as big as that in their pomp. I told him we hadn't and set about trying to come up with our biggest side of the last twenty years or so, (since I started watching them) with a bit of artistic licence this is the best I could produce, nobody shorter than 6ft 2ins by my reckoning and nobody lighter than 15st 7lbs with the exception of Sean O.

Quentin and Inga are both big lads but a tad short to make the team, however there have been few stronger...perhaps they could sit on the bench with Andy Platt and Kevin Iro

Both very good shouts, I was very close to putting Roberts in but I reckon Terry and Goldspink had a few extra pounds on him in the front row and Quinnell and West were just slightly taller in the second row, I should have found room for Bryn Hargreaves too, as we all know that according to the website he is 6ft 12ins tall

Oh you doubter! When he used to get the double decker college bus they had to cut a hole in the first floor for his upperbody. Honestly, he is 6ft 12"!
