i have lost track who we are rumoured to sign and what is going on at the club? all i know is

Chev Walker (rumour)

any1 else????

Ive heard rumours about these but nothing has been confirmed yet

Hull kr and Quins are believed to have made a lucrative offer to melbourne prop Garrett Crossman.

very good young prop a player were crying out for and no even a glimmer of him coming here.

And is 1.6m worth more in hull than wigan how are KR getting all these players

I can't see how KR can spend the full amount of the cap - they aren't exactly the best supported club in SL

Been best supportered has nothing to do with it anymore. Sides have poor attendances but can have good sponsoship deals. Or as Quins had they were getting money by the owner to make up the difference.

I would think also KR are no where near the 1.6 million this season. Also they would have been firm favourites for relegation and therrfore they more than likely did not want to put the financial side of the club in jeopardy just incase they went down. I know contracts become void. But the players that they retained last season were still there and would more than likely stay at the club.

Now they are ensured safety they can get rid of the weaker players and sign better.

I want us to sign class players only.
Bring on our youngsters. Wigan have always been at their best when at least nine or ten are local and the balance class overseas players. The team spirit and attitude at acadamy level is fantastic and I would like to see that transfered to the full team via a promotion system that lets local talent thrive.

The other thing is that the 50% rule has gone out of the salary cap. So even if HKR could only (say) spend £1.2m this season they will be able to spend up to the full cap limit of £1.65 in 2008.

Even so I think the point is that the players they are signing would be tough to fit in a full £1.65m cap anyway.
