Rugby League is so much bigger in Oz than here. I am impressed with news coverage (eg SMH) and the amount of support the game gets down there.

most Aussies think that yawnion isnt a proper sport. League was once, if still not is their national game. Press follow the League players around like soccer players in England, hence the offer of money, with good press coverage by their PM. The atmosphere at club games is totally different to the UK though. The fans hardly get out of their seats and shout like we do. when a try is scored they tend to just clap.

The Wigan fans really have set a stall this season. Lets keep it up all the way to Old Trafford next season & beyond.
