I agree, if we sign a prop it will have to be for the season opposed to a short term loan, especially seeing as we don't know the full extent of Davicos injury and recouperation period and will not for some months.
It is going to be extremely difficult to sign any quality prop now. I mentioned this some time ago now that Lindsay was stupid to only go with three props as injuries always always pop up to mess you about, I just didn't expect it to hit this hard and so early on.
Compared to last seasons squad we've nine out and just five in (counting Davico on both lists). I do not feel the youngsters that came through last season are upto top grade yet which means we've got an all round weaker squad this season. I can see things getting worse with injuries.
