standish high in semi finals

Post by right cross »

yes year 7s put cumbrian side to the sword ,52-0 to be exact ,they travelled 2 1/2 hours to get here and then got the best drumming of there lives ,in attack and defense we were awsome putting in some big hits on some big farmers lads.

we are now 1 game away from playing at old trafford and if we win that then we are well on our way to wembley :)

:) Great victory. Winning in Cumbria is never easy but to destroy them. Huge kudos.

Hope they get to Wembley

How are the year 8's doing. They had a decent team last year and the year 10's too?

Just glad to see them doing well. Growth of Shevington Sharks and Standish High along with Chorley Panthers are the 3 biggest postives to happen locally for 10-15 years. When I was a kid we had to play union at Standish High :o

Ged Staz is really good. Does not trade on his name/rep neitheer. Top man

Yes I know George quite well. He used to be assistant coach for my youngest son's team.
