Must admit to being surprised at the attendance yesterday, just over 6k, with I'd guess at least 1k of those being our fans. I would have thought last season's success, and the Bradford win, would have brought more of them out.
Sky were saying how the town (Wakefield that is) was buzzing with excitement... :conf: snoring, perhaps?

It was pretty full, the capcaity there can't be much more than 8,000.

That's my point, they should be getting capacity crowds if results on the field are any guide.

I put it down to the cold, some people would chose the nice warm pub and a pint over a cold night in Yorkshire!

Mike, some Wakey fans on Saturday told me the official capacity is 9875. There was plenty of room on both sides of the pitch, particularly the more expensive covered side.
