They are charging £12 for a seat and I think thats why they are closing the South stand. They should of given the loyal supporters of this club a treat. I think it should of been just one price say £5 and you could sit anywhere.

If Wigan have the greatest supporters in the world, what's all this slagging off of those in the West Stand?
I thought we all supported the team, and silly divisions do nothing for us. Those of us in the West stand pay for our tickets like everyone else, and so far the menu hasn't run to prawn pies!
Shall we dispense with chips on shoulders and present a united voice of support for the greatest club in the greatest game of all?

Your only as old as you think you are Think im going in the west though for a good laugh Love to see the look on their faces when were singing and dancing like loonatics in a "Posh stand" i can see it now.

Answer me this, who are the last to stand and clap both teams in to the tunnel at the end of the game?

We wait until the last Warrior has done the east & south stand and is in the tunnel before even thinking about heading for the car park.

Don't tar all of us in the expensive seats along with the fair-weather mob behind their double-glazed hermetically sealed cabins, not wanting to get their Armani suits soiled with the stench of the prols, or their Nicky Clarke coiffures mussed up.

It's only simple economics to use the east & west stands, I doubt they'll fill either - so why not maximise revenue? Season ticket holders are getting a discount anyway so what's the problem.

I've got a prior arrangement in London so my seat will be free but if you need a hand smuggling a drum in any other time, let me know !

If all 3 home stands were drummed-up think of the noise we could make! Wouldn't take much to get synchronised.
