"This will be an extravaganza of action featuring all 12 mascots from the engage Super League clubs taking part in a series of fun challenges on the Millennium Stadium pitch involving inflatable’s and Rugby League related activities.
Cheggers will also return to his musical roots by introducing the house band who have been specially commissioned to play throughout the Millennium Magic weekend and will perform sets featuring well-known covers of songs from the 60’s to recent chart hits".
Commenting on the pre-match entertainment, the RFL’s Marketing Manager Phil Williams said, “We believe that this year’s entertainment package at engage Super League Millennium Magic will be better than ever and will ensure that everybody enjoys a fantastic family sporting experience.
“The entertainment will offer something for supporters of all ages and will create the perfect atmosphere in the Millennium Stadium during what will truly be a carnival of Rugby League.â€
Williams added, “We’re delighted to have secured Keith Chegwin to host the Mascot Games. He is a well known personality and has a unique ability to interact with an audience and create fun. “
Alongside the enhanced entertainment programme, there are additional improvements planned so that the engage Super League Millennium Magic provides a better than ever experience for supporters.
