It isnt looking like a serious case then, if he was going to get a sentence he would already be inside.

Why would you be inside for something you have not been convicted of?nathan_rugby wrote:It isnt looking like a serious case then, if he was going to get a sentence he would already be inside.

You're only remanded in custody before trial if there's deemed to be a likelihood you'll abscond, interfere with witnesses, re-offend, etc. It's not really a measure of how serious your alleged offence is.Fujiman wrote:On remand :conf:FROM A TO B wrote:Why would you be inside for something you have not been convicted of?nathan_rugby wrote:It isnt looking like a serious case then, if he was going to get a sentence he would already be inside.
I would imagine that, if we haven't heard anything about it now, Feka's case has been put back a few weeks. This happens all the time in law and we can't possibly read anything into it.

Fekas trial has definately been put back until some time in May.

What i meant was, it isnt looking like much of a serious case.
As in, if feka really did some damage on this guy and is therefore a threat to the public. They would have already done the court etc.
Theyre hardly going to be letting this dangerous guy out on the streets for months and then convict him.

well thats how it seems on the bill so it must be true.
The prize for the most simplified meaning of life goes to. . .
The most likely reason for delay is that either the prosecution / defense or even the judge have over run. Its not so simple as just saying we will do it tomorrow they have to re list the case to when all three are available.
None of this bears any relevance to how serious the case is or on someones guilt or innocence!
