The thing is we have all the capabilities of building a squad, our 2005 U21s won their GF (i think) and teams before them. The problem is the transition from U21 to first team. We may have had slightly more youngsters coming through in 2007 and 2008 but we had no choice to do that due to overpaid players, injuries and deadwood.

I think we all know that the rot set in a few years ago. Periodic upheavals, a long line of coaches and as pointed out on another string, letting young players go who have performed well at other clubs and bringing so called big names into the club who have done nothing. Leneghan is giving new contracts to certain individuals in order to build stability. But lets face it when one has to sit through that load of embarrassing rubbish. and pile of ineptitude they do not deserve to wear the shirt. I have watched the club since 1980 and seen some average players pass through the club but at least many of them were triers. Lets make a fresh start and have a clear out at least we cannot get relegated now. Even if we don't see an improvement for a while we are never going to see it with this lot

That doesnt mean luke and kevin arnt playing well.
brown and robinson - tries scored - 12 assists - 13
barret and lu lu - tries scored 4 - assists - 15
They just appear to be playing more of a unit. Robinson in at first reciever and kevin at second. Both of them attacking defensive line and asking questions.
