Re: JJB out for next season?!
The sponsorship? finishes at the end of this season. Thats why we had to have it on this seasons shirt even though it was manufactured by Kooga.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I wore that shirt last Friday 'gainst Leeds
Norweb has the thumbs up from me but... ££££ rules.
We'll probably have Tote or Sports Direct.com

James Slevin
Ces Mountford
And the “kind of rugby player you’d want to be in your dreams” James Leytham
Should be in the Wigan Warriors Hall

the original one had solid black bars on the bottom.

Not seen anything of Norweb, Energi or otherwise recently, wasn't it merged with Powergen (now e.on) a few years ago?GeoffN wrote:See, we don't disagree about everything!medlocke wrote:Bring back Norweb
That might actually be a possibility (although it's "Norweb Energi" these days), because they're linked with Tesco now!
I'd love Norweb back on our shirts!

I believe you're both wrong! JJB owns Patrick, which used to manufacture Wigan's shirts, not Kooga.the-Bowtun-Warr ior wrote:josie andrews wrote:The sponsorship? finishes at the end of this season. Thats why we had to have it on this seasons shirt even though it was manufactured by Kooga.

As for any sponsorship deal "running out", as I said, the rumour I heard was that no "deal" was in place! Mr Whelan got "free" advertising courtesy of the Warriors!!!
