Fair play to Gardener because he is honest, I just hope he offers to support McLlorum at the judiciary. Odd as it may seem, it was actually a fairly safe tackle because the tackle absorbed the power/pace of the runner. Had McLlorum connected with the lower arm/fist the outcome would have been far far worse.

It was a bad tackle, but the fact that gardner was not injured at all, should have resulted in sin binning and put on report.

Before I get shot down, I am not sticking up for that pink wearing git from Friday. However, having just watched on SL show 3 times, if that was the other way round we would have been baying form blood. It looked bad on the TV and a snap judgement had to be made. Was it the right decision? Read it in the papers. I am actualaly more concerned that Mathers has also been cited for a grade C offence which carries up to a 4 match ban, what if he only gets 3 :eh:

imo it was high but it could not have been bad ,because ade got up straight away, ie not hurt ,just hope that the powers that be see it that way [not holding my breath though].
