I saw that incident and to be honest that was a 100% double movement and it should have been disallowed as that helped Saints win the game.

Not complaining though as they did us a favour!!!! :D :D :D

Who was the video ref? Mick Potter?!?!!

At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!
Might as well have been after that decision to wipe out the Colbon try!!!!

I think it was Gerry Kershaw.
Gerry Kershaw was one of the worst referees around 20 years ago. How come he's involved in the modern, totally slick group of full-time referees? Whenever I saw him, he was whistle-happy, pedantic and totally inconsistent. Hang on, I think I've just answered my own question...

It physically cannot go forward 5m after being thrown backwards
Fair enough it's not the easiest thing for me to explain. But the most boring video on youtube just happens to be on the subject.

Thanks Cherry Pie. Don't think will ever agree. After watching the video the passer doesn't seem to pass it in a backwards motion but i understand what you are saying

James Slevin
Ces Mountford

cherry.pie wrote:That is being picky because watching it again there's nothing wrong with it. Tommy passes from 4 yards out and Pat picks it up about 4 yards out. It might be half a yard forward but most passes go forward in the air if the passer is moving forward.
Cherry look at it, Pat takes it 2 yards in front of Tommy.
