Do not know if anybody else noticed but on FOUR occasions Fielden was dangerously speared head first towards the ground. They were not classic spear tackles but rather lifting his body 2 feet off the ground, tipping his lower half skywardsand driving him head first into the ground.
Ganson IMO had a very poor game.

Backed up by an equally poor performance (as usual) by his mates at the RFL - who failed to cite anyone for one of the most dangerous offences in the games - repeated 4 times!cpwigan wrote:Do not know if anybody else noticed but on FOUR occasions Fielden was dangerously speared head first towards the ground. Meanwhile Platt gets cited for a headbutt - which is more dangerous? A decent headbutt could leave someone with a broken nose or a bad cut to the head. A bad spear tackle could leave someone unable to walk
I know they are a bit slow at the RFL - but come on!

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?
Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Gregory Mounis and John Wilson were both cited for the one in 77th minute, no charge as penalty was deemed sufficient see my post re score updatesMatthew wrote:Backed up by an equally poor performance (as usual) by his mates at the RFL - who failed to cite anyone for one of the most dangerous offences in the games - repeated 4 times!cpwigan wrote:Do not know if anybody else noticed but on FOUR occasions Fielden was dangerously speared head first towards the ground. this is another one (3 players this time) but they still get off with it and again all are wearing the same shirt number

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
