I'd just like to say how good this facility is. They have all the mattches from the NRL in full at very watchable quality. If you have broadband it is well worth checking out.
The one problem is that the slow connection to australia often causes the videos not to play properly when watched from the site. You can fix this by saving the match on your local machine using stream downloading program (i use nettransport2 http://www.xi-soft.com/default.htm but there are others). You can then watch the match from the resulting file without any dodgy video or sound. If anyone wants more details about how to do this let me know.
As a result I now have a growing collection of NRL matches that I will probably delete after watching. I wondered if anyone else wants to watch them? I could put them on this site temporariliy for downloading if anyone wants me to do this (I counldn't publisize this much as I'm sure its illegal!) - would anyone want me to do this? A match is about 400Mb big.
I could possibly copy the files onto dvd (approx 10 matches on 1 dvd) and post them out to people, although this would cost money and we'd have to work out some trade to cover costs - also, the matches are released about one per day so the whole round is available just before the start of the next round in Aus.
Anyway, well done to the NRL for making their matches available on the web.
