LAST GAME AT CENTRAL PARK

Post by josie andrews »

Its the 10th anniversary this week of the last game at Central Park. The Bel Air, on Wigan Lane/Road opp Cherry Gardens, are showing it tonight if anyone is interested in going. Kick off 8pm. They usually have hotpot supper for everyone.

Just thought I would let people know :) Josie

Just remember those happy days. Proper atmosphere within the ground, players who fought for the shirt and were proud to wear it because it meant something to play for Wigan...

The smell of wintergreen... O I better stop now or Ill start to cry.

Where did it all go wrong?

The smell of pies, ale and piss got me every time on my journey from The Wall, through Popular bar, past the caterers and into the legendary toilets...

my sense of smell hasnt been the same since those trips pre-match
