I often wonder re Tommy if he has the attitude needed to be a half back. He was very nervous doing the post match interview. For me half backs need a touch or arrogance, cockiness. Opposition fans, opposition forwards should loathe them. I believe it is that attitude that drives half backs to want to control and dominate a game. I honestly believe it is not a question of talent in Tommy's case.

Spot on CP, all the great scrum halves are cocky individuals. I am afraid that Lulu (nice guy and good pro) will never fit the bill. Most No7s in SL are better.

How anyone can make the claim that Trent inhibited him is beyond me! Great players, of which Trent is definitely one, take the pressure off team mates. In effect Tommy should have prospered whilst playing with Trent.

It is my view that Tommy's contract will not be extended unless their is marked improvement in his overall game.
