according to the Daily Star, he has flown back to england from his holiday in Aus to agree terms on a deal to come to Wigan.
I really hope this is not true, not a fan of the guy at all, doesnt impress me one bit. plus i think his tattoo's are rubbish

just having a quick look at his stats there, looks more af a player who likes getting involved in the ruck area, 111 carries from dummy half for a stand off is quite alot...

We did try to sign him previously. He is on a huge wedge at Cas and will cost us a lot. To be honest if we do sign him I am not sure I will be watching this season. He is rank.

According to the Cas Fans Web Forum, the figure repeatedly being bandied about there is that he is currently on £105 grand a year. Don't know if we can extract any truth from this but as I say it is repeated quite a few times on there. Considering he has just signed a four year deal with them we would assumedly have to beat this figure, and I don't personally think that would be a good thing.

Had a quick flick through some other bits of their site while I was on there, and found some really interesting speculation.
The feeling on there is that they are making moves for an English full back. The name suggested - Richie Mathers.
I know he has just signed a new contract, but so has McGoldrick so it makes you think.
This deal may also have been offered before Amos Roberts became available.
As I say this is just speculation on there so please don't shoot me!
