Andrew Johns welcomes second son

Post by josie andrews »

ON THE eve of the NRL season launch, the game's greatest player has launched his second son into the world.

Andrew Johns and wife Cathrine Mahoney celebrated the birth on Monday morning of a baby boy, Louis Byron, at Royal North Shore Hospital. Mum and baby are doing well, we're told. Johns has a nine-year-old son, Samuel, from his first marriage.

Johns and Mahoney met at a cocktail party to launch Johns' DVD in 2002. They were married in October 2007. No word yet on whether any NRL clubs are vying for young Louis' signature.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
