Giddy-up!

Ok, anyone having any bets on this grand race?

L'Ami 25/1 - bet on it last year (it fell) so hoping for a good run this time round... £3 bet ( i know, pushing the boat out)

We were at the Leeds CC fouth round last year. Was gobsmacked when some folk came and told me the result, I had the first 3 :) out of 6 selected

This year I've picked

Rambling Minster,
Brooklyn Brownie,
Kilbeggan Blade,
Black Apalachi
State of Play.

Have also had to pick AP on Butler's Cabin, he is my favourite jockey. Fingers crossed

If you back 5 horses at £1 e/w you have a 25/1 chance out of 40 horses

I got 4th place on an each way bet so not too bad and 3 out of 6 of our horses finished. The other 3 pulled up.

Me too, but if you saw my original list with 17 horses on it you can understand how I'm bloody gutted as I had Venetia Williams horse, Mon Mome, down but got put off by a bloody commentator on the beeb. Also had Comply or Die down on my original list. I start compiling a list before Christmas and whittle it down as the race draws near due to horses being withdrawn.

Withdrawn off my original list was St John's Castle and War of Attrition
