Mathers scores two.
Richie Mathers scored two tries for Warington in their 56-8 defeat of Featherstone Rovers.
Has Smith brought him out of his shell, is it because of poor opposition or just luck.

Featherstone! Paul Koloi could have scored 3.

He seemed a nice bloke bloke, but not consistent enough to be a good player at Wigan.

Fully agree Alex, thats why I put the three scenarios up for topic.pieater-alex wrote:You can't make that decision until he has played a series of matches at the top level in super league. He made a similar debut IIRC for us against Widnes. No offense to Featherstone but let's see how well he does against super league opposition.Panchitta Marra wrote:Richie Mathers scored two tries for Warington in their 56-8 defeat of Featherstone Rovers.

Personally, I hope Smith brings out some improvements, however, not too much, just as he seems a decent bloke.
I guess only time will tell.
As Geoff mentioned, it would be good to see how he fairs against us.

They would an excellent centre and wing partnership - for us to attack!GeoffN wrote:Both!ancientnloyal wrote:paul koloi or Rachel Mathers?GeoffN wrote:Hope he plays against us in a fortnight.
Wonder how well Richie gets on with Matt "glass-jaw" King...
