jammie wrote:well if what you are saying rob is that you can only here back ground noise in the ear piece and the other officals, why did the touch judge on the west stand touch line not tell silverwood that the hooter had gone either when the tackle was complete or in the next few seconds before the try was scored becaues he definatly would have heard it? or did silverwood just choose to ignore it?
That is probably the case. If so, it should be investigated. It probably won't be though, probably just wishful thinking.
As I have said above, jammie came up with the possibility that Silverwood chose to ignore the hooter, so I came up with the fact that it was probably the case and he did ignore it which should be investigated, but won't due to the incompetent muppets at the RFL!!!!!!!!!

IMO clever cloggs, the best team didn't win!!! Wigan dominated for id say about 80% of the game, looked better, 1 of kr trys was pot luck, Tim Smith kicked the ball at a player (was not played at) and they got over! No skill involved there :conf: other was handed to them after the hooter had gone and again IMO should not have been given, so i dont believe the best team won!

it all seems much a different picture when a neutral reports on a game....

you say 80% Wigan domination yet noble said there was little between them!!

take away the contraversial try and goal and they still beat you!

It maybe the team with most people on their side won, i.e, 13 players + a bent/biased/corrupt, (call him what you will) referee.

It is nie on impossible to play 13 vs 14, when he so obviiously breaks his back to give the opposition the game PLUS as many decisions as he can think of, whether it is in the rule book or not.

I did say that it was my opinion and not fact so i stand by what i said i do not believe the best team won so hence as you put it "not got the balls to admit the best team won" i wont admit something "I" dont think is true!!!

P.S I wouldn't take a after match summary from Noble if he paid me :conf:
