Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Tackle should go on report, i'm sure he will be cited since the game was on TV and it was obvious to every but the referee it was a dangerous tackle.

I'm sure there was no malice from the tackling player but he lifted the player so his head was facing the ground. Should be a 1 match ban at the least.

The referee will be in a reflective mood when he sees the incident when his review comes I think.

If it WAS Mr Robert Hicks refereeing, then he is a TJ for the International game on Saturday:
THURSDAY 11TH JUNE
The Co-operative Championship 1
Dewsbury Rams v Keighley Cougars 7.30pm (SKY)
Ref R Hicks TJ P Ward TJ C Waywell RR T Bell VR J Leahy MC J Holdsworth
Lets us see if he is any better with a flag in his hand!!!!! :badg: :badg: :badg:
SATURDAY 13TH JUNE
Gillette International
France v England
Ref J Maxwell TJ R Hicks TJ TBC VR P Bentham RR TBC MC TBC

The player was lifted so his head was going to it the ground, so he to save himself he put his hand on the ground first and in doing so lost the ball. So yes he did drop the ball but it was either drop the ball or break his neck the referee really should have shown some common sense.

6 penalties in the first 14 minutes?!?!?

Jeez!!!!!! :o :o :o

Is this guy heading for the "34 penalties in a game" record?! I think so!!!!! :o :o :o

Don't put him in SL. It'll be like a fish out of water.
I hope you have a better game in your U16s local derby next week Turf. I also hope your assessor and man in the stand thinks so too!
