The prospect of Myler and Tomkins is certainly attractive. But lets not turn him into Superman just yet. He score 30 points against little more than a pub team coached by an idiot!

Re: Myler to Wire
Our recruitment plans (if we have got any) are likely to be in tatters if, as is expected Hock gets suspended.
IL is on record saying that we need a halfback and prop, we will also need a top clas backrow forward!
We are linked with Myler but we will have to fight off both Wire and Saints - the latter I understand see Myler as a replacement for Long with Eastwood being a long term replacement for Wellens. Saints have also resigned Gidley for 12 months until they fill that gap with Lyon.
If you were Myler, would you choose Wigan ahead of Saints?

Wigan, Wire, Stains, not much between them as very good Rugby League clubs. Team positions, Saints at an easy canter.shaunedwardsfan club wrote:Our recruitment plans (if we have got any) are likely to be in tatters if, as is expected Hock gets suspended.

Money speaks too.
Make the deal too good to turn down. If Wigan wont, someone else will.
Pay quality for quality.

Myler signed for St Helens a year ago its a done deal, that is why wigan signed tommy and lost interest in Myler

Re: Myler to Wire
My thoughts that on Stains, Eastmond was destined for the No 7 shirt. Surely at that stage Myler would have been signed up and publicised by Stains, instead of Salford.ddtftf wrote:Myler signed for St Helens a year ago its a done deal, that is why wigan signed tommy and lost interest in Myler
This would have allowed Myler to train with the squad, irrespective of Long throwing his toys out of the pram.
Is this definite what you say, have you a valid source that can confirm this.
