Agree, 100%. As the old saying goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"
Thankyou sir!!!.
dropping Mossop for a no where near fit Bailey was a criminal offense

Roberts…. Why was he on the field? Why was he allowed to be targeted time and time again? Why did the coach not do something about it?

Fielden….why is he allowed to play for Wigan, why was he given so much time on the field?

Lockers….why was he not substituted? Why when he played a bad game and had no go forward what so ever was he allowed to continue all the game.?

Feka….. Why was he allowed to be targeted in defence when it was very clear that Warrington saw him as a weak link in defence? Why was he allowed to be given the run around?

Riddell…Just why have we bought him knowing he is just an average out of condition player?

Why when we had the younger players on we did better, so why did we not play more of the game with them on the pitch?

WHY WHY WHY???
I dont think Noble had any choice in picking Roberts, although he could have swapped his wing with Richards to nulify the King threat.
Noble does not learn from previous experiences (King v Ainscough)
Fielden has been playing reasonably well of late, was his game so bad today ?
Feka, picked for his impact, Noble didnt see the double edged sword by Smith moving Monahan to 7 from 9 giving him more room to attack our so unfit prop.
A slever move by Smith, dumb by Noble for not reading this move. Looking at the Wire squad, unless Briers went to 7 & Hicks to 6, therefore Monohan had to play at 7. Noble should ave asked himself whyis Monahan back at 7, considering he had been so effective at 9 in recent matches.
Lockers was said to be fully fit by Noble, Nobles choice, no one else to blame but Noble considering the squads performances in recent games.
From other threads it seems Riddell had a decent game.
Is this not true ?
We all know the younger playewrs have proven their worth in latter games, if I was Lee Mossop, I would be discusted by Noble leaving him out, yet again.

We did not show any overall game plan and we certainly were not capable of adapting anything , or bringing about plan B against what were very obvious yet very average tactics by Warrington. We are regretably ,and will remain so for some time to come, less than average . Lets face it neither team produced a real attacking move in the whole game which produced a break of the game line.
In our recent wins primarily they have been based upon the endeavour of youth rather than a rounded team tactical performance.
I am sorry to say that today's game underlined were we are as a club today.
I agree with everything you say, except for that first sentence. I don't think our "young guns" were overawed at all, if anything it was the senior players letting us down. I thought Prescott and Flanagan did their jobs well, and so did Sam with very little support.

Lenagan has explicitly stated that's not the case. While he may stretch and spin things, I don't think he'd lie about that.

In any case, Ainscough is apparently out with a broken arm, so Nobby had little option but to stick with Roberts, but he should clearly have had a plan to deal with King, and he didn't.

i cant understand why after watchin the game between ledds and wire last week we did not have the common sense to hammer monaghan and not allow him to run from dummy half. They got on the roll in the first half and we could not stop them. IMO we looked really poor when fielden and Feka were on. Feca just got walked around, it became laughable after a while.

I will say this though although im gutted im also pleased by the way we fought back and did not completly roll over.

The best team on the day won but i hope they get hammered in the final.

I thought we started the game OK but the turning point was the decision to take 2 pts. We gave up position when Warrington couldn't get their hands on the ball. Warrington score afterwards and Nobby then like clockwork brought Feka and Fielden on together when we were defending. Now Feka's obviously not the best defender but what happened was Feka spent the next 5 minutes defending. Monaghan just kept targeting him and Warrington scored 3 on trot and game was effectively over. Noble needs to use subs as impact especially Feka. He should be brought on off the back of good momentum and when were attacking. Not come on the pitch and have to start defending.

I agree that Prescott was very good in 2nd half and changed our attacking threat.
Disagree with Roberts being lazy. Just not very good under high ball and is to hit and miss.

We weren't very good at all today as a team but I feel that was due to our tactics and team selection. Nobby should go at end of season.

How come that only Sam T and Roberts appeared to be the only ones available to tackle King and why was nothing done about it? King did not play well - we just allowed him to play his normal game.
How come that that Wires were able to make a complete idiot of Paliasina, so much so that he was only allowed on the field for a few minutes?
How come the Warrington half backs were allowed to have a field day?
How come we changed the team that has done us proud over the last few weeks for half fit players?
How come that the one prop, who members on this site have criticised in the past, had to play nearly 80 minutes because two others were useless? And by god he did play well.
Why did the opposition manager get it so right and ours so wrong?
Not criticising IL just asking questions.

Just watched the replay and the turning point for me was when our starting props were replaced by Fielden and Feka ,Fekas defence is awful.Fielden and Feka are not helping the side whatsover its time for drastic action.

:( Agree entirely with what most have said this was a result which was due to the tactics (or lack of them by the coach). The predictable double subbing of Fielden and Feka on 20 minutes was just what Smith was expecting and they adapted their game plan accordingly Feka good when going forward but a liability when trying to defend.Wrong choice to bring both Bailey and an unfit O'Loughlin back in such a crucial match especially when over the previous 3 games the likes of Mossop and Tomkins et al had shown good defensive quality which was needed today.Surely it was plain to see that they would constantly put the high ball for King against a suspect Roberts so why not switch Pat to mark the tallest player on the park.We were beaten by the wrong tactics put forward by our coach rather than a good team. I depair I really do:(
