Wakefield avoid Bankrupty

Post by butt monkey »

The Wildcats avoided a winding-up order last November by reducing their debt owed to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs from £353,000 to £194,000.

The Super League club were given 84 days to clear the rest of the debt and on Wednesday confirmed they had met the deadline.

I agree good news. I would hate to see a RL club go to the wall. Hope they get better fortunes this season and raise their gate.
