I cannot understand why Smith persists with him. Riley can play FB. Bridge off the bench, King to the wing. They even have a decent Welsh reserve winger.

These coaches must see something in him we can't. His contract for us was extended based on appearances was it not and he didn't earn any of the appearances as far as I'm concerned. We got the best end of the deal by a mile. Gleeson is looking great positionally at the moment and running some great angles pretty darn hard.

Mathers dived for some reason following his mistake at the end... why? nobody was near him and he wasnt even near an attempt to save a try

Not seen it but Mathers dived against Cas in Round 2ish when nobody touched him. He got a penalty for it so he was just trying his luck probably?
