Not seen anything on news or anywhere, but he said it was something that occured in warm up and it did look like he could play. perhaps someone else will take on the kicking duties again.

just a bump on the knee, according to Madge, he should be fine. Be fun to see Piggy taking the kicks again, though!

Dont want to disrespect Widnes in any way , but does anyone else feel we might be in a position to give Pat the weekend off . I have always been am advocate of fielding our strongest available team in Challenge Cup ties as we all want to win it again so badly , but Pat is up there every week at times above and beyond the call of duty .A rested Pat might be what we need against the Giants next week , for what will be IMO a very explosive tie . (for obvious reasons)

Just seen on skytext that Widnes have got 13 first teamers out for
tomorrow. If that's the case, we definately should rest some players and win comfortably.

... plus their loan signings are cup tied. This will be a walkover.

Lets not get too carried away, we went to barrow last year with the attitude of being a walkover and almost got embarrassed, respect to all opposition is needed and every game is as hard as every other. Look at quinns the other week
