Lol, when KP starts running tries in from his own half and running rings round people that'll be a very valid point.

As for KP yesterday his positioning was bad but if he had been in the right place there'd have been a huge gap between him and the other players. As CP said in another post Lockers helps massively in getting the defence to slide effectively. We really struggled in that aspect yesterday.

Pryce had a good game yesterday before getting injured. Maguire has shown a bit of faith and Karl Pryce has shown improvement every week. I think Maguire has realised that Pryce will not go from hardly playing to world beater in the space of a game but he clearly see potential in him.

If you watch Pryce warming up he has no problem carrying and catching the ball one handed but it games he doesn't do it because he has to get the basics right first. When he goes into tackles his main concern is keeping the ball. With more time on the pitch he would have gained more confidence. Joel runs with the ball in one hand but that comes with confidence.

Pryce should be shipped out at the end of his contract,he does not appear to have the heart required in RL.For such a big man he gets injured far too easily. He would get an injury on Question of Sport.

That's the first injury in his eight matches and he did it avoiding Sam Tomkins. All his weight came down on his ankle/foot. He is Maguires preferred choice over Goulding.

I have been told whether true or not that the idea was to put Pryce in the shop window in order to offload him. The longer he plays the less inclined I am to believe it nor think it is a good idea.

I am sorry but Pryce will never be good enough. To even mention him in the same breath as Offiah is insane.

Maybe it should be addressed the other way. Why can't people on here see what Maguire sees. After all Maguire works with Pryce five days per week. Surely he is in a far better position to judge Pryces qualities.

It's very odd though that Madge / Waney were seeing exactly what most of us see and were incredibly disparaging about Pryce until recent times.

Bottom line he is a very poor player

So what's changes their minds? Bottom line is Pryce has a skill set that very few at Wigan have, Maguire acknowledges it and wants to use it. A new contract offer is being discussed.
