I agree with you 100% that Wigan had no respect from any club within the Super League at that point, and this is why, partly in my opinion they didn't push it any further.

To blame it on Ian Lenegan, who at that moment in time had no involvement with Wigan RL is in my opinion an argument with reasoning behind it.
