Should Amos play full back on Sunday?
Should Amos play full back on Sunday?
Amos played a full game for the reserves. Did anybody think that he is fit enough to play full back on Sunday? Despite Sam's brilliant form at full back I still think that our best team is with sam at 6 and Amos at 1. Any comments?

If he was at his best that would be my option but I do not think it will happen.

I'd put pat at #1 and karl pryce alongside Carmont. I worry for Deacon in the middle and also defensively against the likes of... erm... whoever isnt injured/banned.
If fit Roberts may come to the fold

Karl Pryce? I wouldn't let him lace the players boots, he'd be too slow for them to be ready for kick off.ancientnloyal wrote:I'd put pat at #1 and karl pryce alongside Carmont. I worry for Deacon in the middle and also defensively against the likes of... erm... whoever isnt injured/banned.

Leave Sam at 1, that's the number he'll be wearing next season.

Surely a 50% Roberts is worth a 110% Pryce?
If we're seriously considering keeping Pryce then we would have been better off keeping Feka and playing him on the wing. There probably isn't a lot of difference in pace or speed of turn and at least we know that Feka is bothered and can break a tackle!

I would not select Pryce before even young players like Charnley and Marsh.

I would not pick Pryce ever PERIOD !!!

Roberts looked good in the reserves game, admittedly against a poor side. I'd play him at fullback on Sunday.

Good didn't really notice him at the Rover's game but when I watched it on DVD he seemed pretty good. Just hope he's getting his confidence back because he can be a liability without it.GeoffN wrote:Roberts looked good in the reserves game, admittedly against a poor side.
