Farrell was superb on Friday and is going to be an excellent player. I still think they tend to choose the point scorers and flair players as winners for the awards though, but Liam Farrell is an excellent young player and would be a worthy winner in my eyes.

I think something is definitely no right-Sam hasn't missed a game since he made the first team, even playing the day after an international game. I also think Kyle might have an ego issue. Stains could be making a mistake on Friday if they favour him over Smith!

I also think Kyle has a bit of an ego issue, with regards to the injury situation, it could be similar to Karl Pryce and Roberts situation, where they have recovered from injurys yet still have a mental issue or barrier that they cant seem that get over to easily. I wonder what a Sam/Kyle six and seven partnership would look like agaisnt the aussies this year?

Liam Farrell has been brlliant, and it's always good to see the name Farrell on the score sheet, but for me, it has to be Tom Briscoe.

Liam Farrell must be there or there abouts, the only thing possibly going against Farrell would be that period at the start of the season where he didnt get too much game time. My stains friend reckons Jamie Foster should win it easily. Liam Watts from Hull Kr was another name mentioned. Who do people think would be a worthy winner?
Liam Farrell, Tom Briscoe & Jamie Foster would be my top 3 choices.
My head says Foster or Briscoe will win it, although heart obviusly goes with Liam.
IMO Liam Watts is still a good young player, but not played consistantly as well as the other 3 in 2010.

Liam Watts HKR is the winner of Young Player of the Year
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
