.........the most callous,insensitive bastard ever to disgrace the nation's television screens.
Just finished watching the final on SS3. Eddie is sitting with Brian Carney & Terry O'Connor, 2 of Tez Newton's closest friends. O'Connor paid tribute to his mate and then Eddie said“ The saddest thing about this is that Terry Newton will always be remembered as the man who was banned for taking performance enhancing drugs. He will always be remembered as a cheat!”!

That is one of the most obscene bits of Live TV I have watched in a long time, and in my opinion, Eddie should be shown the door!

Disgusted doesn't even begin to describe how I feel!

Terry was serving his punishment for what he did wrong and he always knew what he did was wrong, he should be remembered for his efforts on the pitch for every club that he played for.

I was absolutely appalled by Mr Hemmings comments at the end of the live show this evening, you could see how difficult it was for O'Connor to speak about Terry then he goes and spouts rubbish like that without any thought of how it would effect Terry's family and friends.

Terry will be remembered as a player who gave 100% for club and country, not for the remark made by Mr Hemmings.
