Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Wales 6-13 Italy

Post by MrDave »

I've got to say well done to Italy for beating Wales, even if Wales did play well this is a massive improvement for the Italians last time they played European opposition they lost 104-0 to Scotland.

Not good news for promoting rugby league in Wales, perhaps the RFL will fast track an Italian team into Super League.

And like Catalans it would be a pain in the arse for the players and staff travelling to the UK every fortnight and there would be no away fans.

Away fans don't really matter that much, and Catalans have more home fans than a lot of SL clubs. Can't see it happening, though.
