As you say, there is nothing to compare with their looks, at least Gareth Thomas is a bit better lookingcpwigan wrote:I cannot think of two people who look more different. Removing 2 teeth will do nothing to change that.Filming is due to start this summer and Rourke is apparently considering having two front teeth removed to increase the likeness to Thomas.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Thanks Josie for anticipating my mistake! You're right, of course, it was Sporting Life!
I realised that later on.

Re: NOBLE OFFERED MOVIE ROLE
Nice film location in Castleford, cheap actors who will willingly heckle a guy for free.
The opening scene, I hear, involves a dog and a well known aussie league player, to be played by Tom Hanks

Re: NOBLE OFFERED MOVIE ROLE
As much as it would be a form of promotion for both codes, has this idea even been pitched yet or does it just exists in Rourkes mind? I think it could be done on a relatively low budget though so it might get commissioned.

I really don't see there being much of a movie in this. But at least it will be low budget!
