Brilliant article. Personally, I think it confirms that Cumbria RL is strong with or without a SL presence and that the amateur game particularly local derbies attract far more interest than the pro clubs.
I agree with the summer switch for Juniors up to 18. Personally, I would consider moving adult RL back to winter pro and amateur.

Thats why the oldest amateur rugby league club in the world is in cumbria, always had a good following here
