that's absolutely crap! So Lima gets a 2 match ban & £300 for doing nothing wrong, Godwin gets a 2 match ban & £300 for running in and punching someone from behind!

I wonder if we could pull some friends together from other teams to boo that baby Wilkin every time he steps foot on a field, or touches a ball!

Lima's disciplinary record in the NRL wasnt the best - I just hope we havent got a player who will get repeatedly banned.

Wilkin complaining was absolutely pathetic and soft, but in fairness in both incidents it cant be argued that Lima was just clamping the ball in the tackle - I'm not saying he's gone to hurt anyone but there's little reason for being third man in a tackle and grabbing an arm. Just saying.

The inconsistent responses from the RFL on the other hand are a different issue....

Absolutely disgusting. The RFL ought to be ashamed........ No publicly flogged. We have to appeal out of general principle.

I just don't know what else to say. Scandalous!!

Both tackles supposedly chicken wings - I thought there was usually a full review of video evidence (even unused on the day footage if available)

Fingers crossed it gets reduced to one match on appeal, but I seriously doubt it. Does anyone know where Fielden (or O'Carroll??) are up to if needed to fill in?

seems to be some double standards going on, godwin punches someone AND gets sent off 2 game ban and fine, lima possible dodgy tackle and another cried for by wilkin 2game ban and fine is this the same panel looking at the same incidents- am i missing something :eh:

Nice one!

Think it stinks and is even worse that he misses the WCC as a result - RFL obviously want Wigan to carry on where we left off on the international stage last autumn and get a good stuffing by the Aussies. If Jeff had really made two chicken wing tackles I really can't believe that all 3 officials failed to see them. Suppose it is getting close to the season where the cuckoo's are about - looks like they were at Red Hall today
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Yet again the RFL show their true colours. C'mon Mr Chairman, we know you readthis site, please appeal this decision,I really fail to understand how he even has a case to answer!
