I'll go for the 1950 Championship Final at Maine Road v Huddersfield, 8 first team regulars missing due to International Tour call-ups, a 20-2 victory against a very strong and classy Fartown outfit was considered Wigan's 'finest hour' for many years,

One from the following list:

- Manly in WCC in 1988 8-2 at central park.
- Leeds in 1994 CC final 26-16 (offiah final)
- Saints in 2002 CC final 21-12 (Rads final)
- Bradford in Playoffs in 2007 (greatest come back ever)
- leeds 1998 grand final 10-4

In the modern era I would say Manly and the Broncos Aways WCC victories. The 1985 CC Final v Hull also.

I'd go for Wigan 31 - Bradford 30.

We were 30-6 down with 20 minutes to go and in terms of sheer unbelievable excitement in the Rocky vein, it was great.

In my experience, Manley was something really special. It came at a time when British RL national side were suffering absolute maulings at the hands of the Aussies (some things never change) and we did it with an all British team. Plus mid week evening match, loads of atmosphere, jammed packed ground, virtually every pundit writing us off and a game in which no tries were scored yet was the most action packed 80mns ever. Classic
