Quantum Leap
If you could choose any wigan player from wigans glorious past to represent this current team who would you choose? For me its jason robinson. Jaw dropping tries every week...gary connelly a close second tho.
Re: Quantum Leap
Great call that QL - I'll add Ellery & Dean Bell. Ellery 'cos he would win you a match against all the odds & Deano, simply would have to have him in any of my teams !
Re: Quantum Leap
To compliment the existing team, Brett Kenny and Andy Greg. Never seen a stand off before or since as good as Brett and Greg, on his day was the best scrum half I've seen. It would have been fantastic to see these two and Sam in the same side.

I'd have Brian McTigue in there. Today's so called 'hard men' wouldn't dare so much as look at him in a funny way!

Re: Quantum Leap
There have been very few British players who could win matches against the Aussies in latter years, but Ellery Hanley was one of them, an outstanding Rugby League talent.
Dean Bell was Mr reliable, a true legend in Wigan folklore.
The above would be my two without question.

Re: Quantum Leap
Ellery Hanley would improve any team. His step out of tackles & his "crab" runs before his burst forward to the line to score had & still has no equals.
