from what his boss said they were resigned to the fact of being in the championship next season and cas had offered to share there new ground with wakey on the proviso that they took over cos they carnt trust the other party, but for whatever reason he and the guy who he was going to go in with pulled out.
his boss is eric france the main sponsor he's always been bang on with everything else he's said about club so no reason not to belive him. he's not even gonna sponsor them after this season! bang goes my tickets in posh seats in west stand with complimentery meal! best make most of the day this year

I think it was signed, sealed and delivered a long time back. Cas would have been foolish to groundshare and help a potential franchise rival. It was always going to be a Yorkshire franchise out to equal the Yorkshire / Lancashire franchise numbers. In the long run it may benefit Wakefield being out of SL.
