It has been revealed that Brian McClennan will coach the Exiles team for the International Origin Match.
Whilst we have yet to see any official announcement (we expect one on Thursday), on a new site launched by the RFL, internationalorigin.com, where fans can vote for which players they would like to see in the Exiles squad, in the instructions/guide section we see a list of Key Dates with the following information.
13 April Brian McClennan will make his third selection pick
20 April Brian McClennan will make his fourth selection pick
26 April Brian McClennan will make his fifth selection pick
4 May Brian McClennan will make his sixth selection pick
11 May Brian McClennan will make his seventh selection pick
18 May Brian McClennan will make his eighth selection pick
25 May Brian McClennan will make his ninth selection pick and full reveal of 22-man squad
As you can see, Brian McClennan is clearly the exiles coach for the International Origin match.
The International Origin Match will take place on Friday 10th June 2011 at Headingley Carnegie Stadium, home of the Leeds Rhinos.
