Tigers keep hold of Jones

Stuart Jones will remain at Castleford for the 2013 season after signing a new one-year contract with the Super League club.

The 29-year-old, who can play in the back row or at loose forward, joined the Tigers from Huddersfield in 2009 and has gone on to make 73 appearances.

"I'm absolutely delighted," Jones, who has also played for St Helens and Wigan during his career, said.

"The club has a good structure in place, it is really going in the right direction and it's good to be a part of it.

"Things off the field are coming together nicely and on the field we've been getting stronger with every year I've been here.

"I've had three good years here; I've really enjoyed my time and glad to be here for next season at least."
