do the play off tries not count towards the leading try scorer?

Don't think so but not totally 100%

In the past it has always been awarded to the top try scorer "in the regular rounds"

unfortunately that table also shows how good wire have been this year, too have scored the points they have and only have two in the top ten shows they can score from anywhere.
