Former Hull KR head coach Justin Morgan has joined Canberra Raiders' backroom staff on a two-year deal.
Morgan, who stepped down from Rovers last month after more than six years in charge, replaces former Wigan and New Zealand prop Quentin Pongia and joins Andrew McFadden as an assistant to head coach David Furner.
"Justin is an up-and-coming coach with top-level experience and we know he'll be a valuable asset for the Raiders," Furner said.
"He arrives in Canberra for the beginning of the pre-season in November and we believe his appointment will help us move in the right direction."
Morgan, a former player with Canberra, added: "The NRL is the toughest competition in the world and every coach aspires to be a part of it so I'm looking forward to my chance with the Raiders."
Canberra have also announced the signing on a two-year contract of former Hull hooker Shaun Berrigan, who spent the 2011 season with New Zealand Warriors.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
