Championship club Keighley have pulled off a major coup by signing Michael Korkidas from Super League neighbours Wakefield.
The 30-year-old Australian prop will link up with his former Wildcats team-mate Jason Demetriou, who led the Cougars to promotion from Championship One in his first season as player-coach.
"I have known JD for a long time and the opportunity to team up with him and the squad at Keighley Cougars is one that I will relish," said Korkidas, who made 142 appearances in two spells at Wakefield.

Korkidas joins Keighley
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
